Horta de Sant Joan hosts the first GastroEbre in January 2018. Deep in the Terra Alta, among olive groves and garnacha blanca vineyards, the produce of these comarcas finds a professional stage for the very first time. Joan Roca champions the roots as a starting point. Jeroni Castell and Fran López — Les Moles and Villa Retiro, the two stars of the territory — stand for river cooking and cooking of the land. Iolanda Bustos brings flowers and vegetables to the evening plate. First edition. First commitment: the Terres de l'Ebre deserve a gathering of their own.
