2024Tramuntano 2024 — The Gastronomic Harvest
Fourth edition of the Gastronomic Harvest. Top-level chefs prepare a dish featuring a BAYO rice variety at a heritage-listed estate on the banks of the river Ebro.
Fourth harvest at Mas Tramontano, September 2024. The rice is Carnaroli — the variety of high-altitude risottos — and the estate on the banks of the Ebro receives it with all the solemnity of a product grown right here. Quim Casellas, from Casamar in Llafranc, brings the Costa Brava's eye inland. Maria Bonet, from Reversible in Deltebre, cooks exactly where the product lives. Oriol Balaguer, master pastry chef, closes the day by showing that even sweetness can be born from a grain. Four editions, four readings. The Delta rice is inexhaustible: each year it finds a new cook who reinvents it.
