Professional gathering at the heart of the Ripollès with guest chefs from contemporary Catalan cuisine and the finest mountain raw materials.

Two venues. One idea: cooking as living heritage of the Pyrenees.

The ninth edition of GastroPirineus takes place across two stages for the first time. The Vallter 2000 ski resort in Setcases, at 2,000 metres of open landscape and late-season snow. And Cal Marquès restaurant in Camprodon, where the Ripollès comes down to the plate.

Joan Roca (El Celler de Can Roca), Víctor Torres (Les Magnòlies) and Quim Casellas (Casamar) cook live with the finest mountain produce. Side by side with their farmers and shepherds. Cheese from l'Alt Urgell i la Cerdanya, hand-picked herbs, meat from flocks grazing under a mountain sky.

Nine years of sessions proving that cooking in the Pyrenees is a cultural act. And that territory, when cooked right, speaks for itself.
